I’m happy to announce some major developments in the work of the Berkeley Institute. In Fall 2015 I will be returning to UC Berkeley permanently, as Chancellor’s Professor of English. And Chiyuma Elliot, a Senior Fellow of the Institute, has accepted a tenure-track position at Berkeley, starting next fall as Assistant Professor of African-American Studies.
We are both extraordinarily happy to be returning to our home in Berkeley and becoming more closely involved in the daily life of the Institute.
We look forward to seeing all of you at our Fall opening reception (Sept. 6).
