Please join us on Thursday, September 1st at 5:30pm for our first event of the Fall semester. The opening reception is our back-to-school social hour, the perfect chance for new students to learn about the Berkeley Institute and for returning students to reconnect.

Some of our Senior Fellows will be around to meet students, answer questions about the Institute, and announce upcoming programs. All attendees will receive a copy of our Fall 2022 “Community Read”— Pensées by Blaise Pascal. We invite the Berkeley community to read this book with us and attend any of our numerous events in conversation with our Fall 2022 theme, "Commitment."
