Spring 2022 Opening Reception
Please join us on Thursday, February 17th at 5:30pm for our first in-person event of the semester. The opening reception is our back-to-school social hour, the perfect chance for new students to learn about the Institute and for returning students to reconnect. Our Senior Fellows will be around to meet students, answer questions about the Institute, and announce upcoming programs.
All attendees will receive a copy of our Spring 2022 “Community Read”— Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke. We invite the Berkeley community to read this book with us and attend any of our numerous events in conversation with our Spring 2022 theme, “Solitude, Community and Creativity.”
This event won't have dinner at this event. But we will be ready to host students with supplies for the semester ahead. Drop-ins welcome, but please RSVP at the bottom of the page if you think you’ll attend.
